25 new condominium launches in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor are on freehold title, from RM339,000 at M Aurora. Freehold is the minority among Klang Valley high-rise launches, where most sites are leasehold. Each project's exact tenure wording, price and location is listed below.
Freehold matters most if you intend to hold for a long time or sell on: a leasehold title is one more line on the next buyer's checklist, and banks can lend more cautiously against a lease with fewer years left. Over a decade of living in a place it barely registers. The tenure shown for each project is the wording from its own particulars, not a summary — several are freehold with a residential title, which is a different thing from freehold with a commercial one.
