Completing by 2027

16 new condominium launches in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor are due to hand over by the end of 2027, from RM430,000 at Riverville Residences 2. Three — Core Residence @ TRX, Oxley Towers KLCC and Laurel Residence — are already completed, so the wait is the paperwork rather than the construction. Each project's stated completion date, price and location is listed below.

The date shown for each project is the one its own page states — an advertising permit's expected completion where one is published, the developer's estimate where not. Either way it is a target, not a promise: the date that binds the developer is the delivery clause in the sale and purchase agreement, so ask for that alongside the brochure. A project publishing a range that runs past 2027, or a date that has already slipped, does not make this list.

Common questions

Which new condos in KL will be completed by 2027?
16 launches on this site state a completion date in 2027 or earlier, listed on this page with the date for each. Two — Core Residence @ TRX and Oxley Towers KLCC — are already completed, and the earliest of the rest hand over in 2026.
Can I move in as soon as the project is completed?
Nearly. After completion the developer applies for the certificate of completion and compliance, then hands over vacant possession — typically a few weeks to a few months after the building itself is done. For a completed project like Core Residence @ TRX the wait is that paperwork plus your own loan and renovation, not construction.
How reliable are these completion dates?
The dates from an advertising permit are the developer's own filed commitment and tend to be conservative — projects often deliver a few months early, because delivering late costs the developer liquidated damages under the sale and purchase agreement. A date from a brochure without a permit behind it is softer. Either way, the delivery clause in your sale and purchase agreement is the date that counts, so read it before you sign.
What happens if the developer hands over late?
Under a standard Malaysian sale and purchase agreement you are entitled to liquidated ascertained damages — commonly 10% per annum of the purchase price, calculated daily from the promised date until vacant possession. That is a statutory remedy under the Housing Development Act for projects sold under it, which is one reason the delivery period in the agreement matters more than the marketing date.
Is a project completing soon a better buy?
It is a shorter wait and less uncertainty — you can often see the actual tower rather than a render, and your money is committed for less time before you get the keys. The trade-off is that early-bird pricing and the widest choice of units usually come at launch, years before completion. Which matters more depends on whether you are buying to live in soon or holding long term.
