Pet-Friendly Condos

Ten new condominium launches in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor build a dedicated pet facility into the development — a rooftop run at Talisa, Paw Haven at Lunar Seputeh, a Furry Friends Park at The Aldenz — and three more come close, with the caveat named for each. Prices start from RM356,000 at Luminar Residence. Each project's pet facility, price and location is listed below.

Pet-friendly is still uncommon among Klang Valley high-rise launches, and the phrase gets used loosely — sometimes it means a dog run on the roof, sometimes only that the management has not banned pets. Every project below names a specific pet facility from the developer's own material, and the ones that qualify on a technicality are listed separately rather than mixed in. House rules are set by each management corporation after handover, so confirm the detail before you commit.

Common questions

Which new condos in KL are pet-friendly?
Nine new launches carry a dedicated pet facility: Talisa @ Bangsar Hill Park (rooftop pet run), Lunar Seputeh (Paw Haven), The Aldenz (Furry Friends Park), The Atas Taman Desa (Pet Friendly Corner), RIA (Pet Recreation Area), Times Square 2 (Pets' Play Area), OAKA Residences, Luminar Residence (two pet parks) and Stellar Damansara.
What is the cheapest pet-friendly condo launching in KL?
Luminar Residence has the lowest entry price on this list, from RM356,000. Prices move with each release and the figures here are the current entry price for each project — message us for the price on the specific unit type and floor you want.
Does pet-friendly mean I can definitely keep a dog?
Not automatically. A developer marketing a project as pet-friendly means the design allows for pets and usually provides a dedicated space, but the house rules are set by the management corporation after handover, and they can cap the number, size or breed. Ask for the draft house rules before you sign.
Are pet-friendly condos harder to find in Malaysia?
Yes. Most Klang Valley high-rise developments either prohibit pets or leave it to the management corporation, so a project that designs in a pet run is still the exception. That scarcity is why pet-friendly stock tends to hold a wider tenant pool if you are buying to let.
Do I pay more for a pet-friendly condo?
Not for the pet facility itself — it is one amenity among dozens and is not priced separately. What you may pay for is the location, and the size of unit that suits a dog: a 900 sq ft two-bedroom costs more than the 500 sq ft one in the same tower.
