What is the maintenance fee at Parkside Residences?

RM0.45 per square foot a month, and that rate excludes the sinking fund, which is billed on top. On the 485 sq ft Type A that is about RM218 a month, roughly RM329 on the 732 sq ft Type C2, and about RM596 on the 1,325 sq ft Type E2.

Read the words "excluding sinking fund" carefully when you compare this against another project. A development quoting a rate with the sinking fund included is quoting its whole monthly bill; Parkside's RM0.45 is not, so the figure on your statement will be higher than the arithmetic above.

The monthly figures are the rate multiplied by built-up, which is how the fee is struck. Rates are set by the developer and can be revised before handover, and afterwards they are the management corporation's to change, so treat them as current rather than fixed.
